GLOVES FOR KIDS PROGRAM
WHAT: Gloves for Kids Autograph Signing

WHY: Gloves for Kids is a program designed to provide Detroit’s youth with the sporting equipment necessary to participate in organized baseball and softball. During select dates in May, June, July and August, Detroit Tigers players will make appearances along with representatives from WXYT and WWJ AM (CBS Radio) at various Metro Detroit ABC Warehouse locations. Tigers players will sign autographs during each visit in exchange for donations of new or gently used baseball and softball equipment such as gloves, cleats, bats, balls, shin guards etc. Monetary donations are also accepted.
As part of the Gloves for Kids program, Tigers catcher Alex Avila and Tigers pitcher Max Scherzer will sign autographs tomorrow at ABC Warehouse in Centerline.
