TIGERS VERSUS RED SOX GAME POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN

MAKEUP GAME SCHEDULED AS PART OF SPLIT DOUBLEHEADER SUNDAY AT 7:05 P.M.

DETROIT – Tonight’s scheduled game against the Boston Red Sox at Comerica Park has been postponed due to rain and impending rain. The game will be made up Sunday, May 29 as the second game of a split doubleheader, which will begin with the regularly scheduled game at 1:05 p.m. and will be followed by the makeup game for tonight’s contest at 7:05 p.m.

Tickets for tonight’s game will be honored for the second game on Sunday at 7:05 p.m., no ticket exchange is necessary.

As a result of the split doubleheader, Kids Run the Bases has been canceled for this Sunday. Additionally, there will be no fireworks following the 7:05 p.m. game on Sunday.

Fans unable to attend the rescheduled game may exchange their unused tickets at any time for a future regular season game scheduled to be played within 12 months from today’s date; excluding Opening Day and subject to availability.

An additional note, Sunday’s 7:05 p.m. game will not be televised due to the Major League Baseball National Network Windows of Exclusivity, which will not allow local television for game telecasts which begin after 5:05 p.m.
