DEAL OR NO DEAL by Denny McLain
We are at a point in the season where GM's who have real manhood can make a real serious deal.
I pray that the Tigers don't hold on to Inge too much longer like they did with Bonderman. As some recall I was yelling from the highest mountain in 2006 about Bondy to trade him cause he did not have "IT" and that at the end of the Series in 2006 his value would never be higher.
Of course the GM kept this 40 million dollar mistake.
Now Inge; a $20 million .225 hitter that is no better or worse, and check to see how much each one of his homers costs.
Trade him now before the entire league wakes up and won't give you a real pitcher or a real consistent hitter and maybe you find lightening in a bottle with an Inge trade and do the team some real good.
You don't win pennants without good pitching and you can't win a pennant with .225 hitters, we have more than one don't we?
Pull the trigger GM and don't forget to throw in Bondy, save the season, give the team and the fans a shot to win!
