SEVEN KEYS FOR THE TIGERS AND A CENTRAL DIVISION TITLE

1- Brandon Inge’s Batting Average –
Inge has been mister clutch this season
for the Tigers and they can’t afford
him falling off his current pace to much.
He has a career batting average of .239 and many
are waiting for the bottom to fall out, but his consistency
could be the difference maker for Detroit.
In April and June he was great, but in May he
struggled. Right now his July numbers (.206 batting
average) look closer to his month of May
(.235), but there is a lot of time left.
He made the All-Star game, even getting
an invite to the Home-Run Derby, so hopefully
that will give the third baseman a boost going
into the final two months of the season.
