DETROIT – The Detroit Tigers today announced the club has traded outfielder Josh Anderson to the Kansas City Royals in exchange for cash considerations.
Anderson saw action in 74 games with the Tigers this season after being acquired from the Atlanta Braves on March 30. He hit .242 (40x165) with four doubles, four triples, 16 RBI and 13 stolen bases with the Tigers before his contract was designated for assignment by the club on July 24.
